28th Annual Gala and Auction Night

Saturday, March 28, 2015 is the date for the Gala event this year.  This year’s theme is Putting On The Glitz!

Tickets may be purchased in advance at the WRC: $45 individual or $320 for a reserved table of 8.

Vegetarian Penne Genoa
               All entrees served with green salad, oven roasted baby red potatoes, and sugar snap peas with glazed carrots.

Dinners are pre-ordered, please indicate your order on or before 3/13/2015, and tell your guests to do so as well.

Tickets: $15 each; kids younger than 7 are free. Tickets can be purchased on the week of the event at the WRC or the day of the event at any of the featured gardens.

2014 Summer Youth Garden Project

The 2014 Youth Garden Project begins on Monday June 2, 2014 from 6:00 -7:30 p.m. at the Community Garden behind Redeemer Lutheran Church, Winona. Over 30 children, ranging from age 5-12, are registered to garden with the Master Gardeners of Winona and staff from the WRC every Monday night through August 18. The gardeners will take a holiday on Monday July 7.

Youth gardeners will plant their own flower and vegetable gardens, learn growing and nurturing skills, and participate in a variety of activities related to the environment, nutrition and ecology led by local experts.
