The Women’s Resource Center (WRC) provides assistance to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and/or stalking who are seeking protection orders and other legal assistance, social services, health care or housing. We provide support groups for victims of sexual assault and domestic violence, and offer education about these topics for the school district, the local universities, and the private sector.
The WRC also engages in activism for more effective policies concerning violence against women and children, and to help the community talk about how to respond to and prevent domestic violence and sexual assault.
Mission statement: Creating a safer community by eliminating sexual and domestic violence.
We focus on advocating for and supporting all survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking. Our primary focus is to ensure the safety of all survivors.
